Tastes terrible, just like all other NA wines. Disappointing!
Not very good
The characteristics of the product barely resemble an actual wine of any kind. Especially not a Cabernet. I might be able to cook with it, but i won’t drink it. I’m disappointed by this, as the Chardonnay was good.
I'm a wine collector who, temporarily, can't drink alcohol. So, I was MOST interested in this wine since I LOVE Mondavi wines.
I was surprised to discover that this wine tasted better in a juice glass than it did in a Riedel Vinum Extreme Cabernet Sauvignon glass.
Since Riedel glassware can, besides emphasizing the good aspects of a wine can ALSO emphazise the flaws, I consider this wine to be over-priced for the actual value received. I won't be buying it again.
Misses the mark
I enjoyed this n/a cab better than others i have tried for sure . Definitely needs refrigeration. Delivery was fast!
We've tried 5 or 6 non-alcoholic reds ... most are way too sweet ... one from Germany is pretty fair, but Isabel blows them all away ... has a real 'wine' taste. The doc limited me to one glass of real wine a day ... with Isabel, it's almost like I'm cheating on a diet.
Not at all wine like. Unpleasant flavor
I don't like the flavor at all. Slightly sour and unpleasant. I wouldn't buy it again.
This tasted bad in and of itself and not like wine. Sorry.
It was good but tasted like a Beaujolais not like the full body taste of a Mondavi wine!!
Finally an alcohol free red wine that taste wonderful!!
First red non alcoholic wine that actually taste good. Had multiple glasses the last two nights and ordered more cabernet today!
I enjoyed the wine. I didn't have high expectations for an NA wine but weas very pleased with the flavor. I will buy it again.
First NA wine I have ever liked!!
Delicious
Did not like the taste at all. I so wanted to enjoy it , but did not
This did not taste anything like cab sav.! It tasted like sour grape juice. I’m sorry we spent money on this.
Best brand of non-alcoholic Cabernet I have found in this market.
Loved it
I have tried many NA wines. All have claimed to be just like the real thing, unfortunately, most taste like grape juice. This is not grape juice. The body, taste and overall enjoyment of drinking this Cab is spot on.
Good dry flavor, closest to real thing I've tasted so far.
Good dry flavor, closest to real thing I've tasted so far.
Sweet grape juice. Not any different than any other na red.
So far best non alcoholic red I’ve tried
This is the best n/a wine I’ve had. It smells exactly like wine and the taste is very close. My only complaint is the bottle. N/a wine is perishable. I can’t think of any situation in which I would consume a full bottle in one sitting or have enough n/a friends around me to do so. Drinking the Cab Sauv cold causes it to lose a lot of its appeal. Please, please, please, offer this in half bottles. I also think half bottles would make it easier for bars and restaurants to have it on hand.
Terrible. Don’t make non alcoholic wine if it’s not worth drinking.
Nice alternative
Unfortunately I didn’t like the wine. It tasted like juice that had gone flat or juice that was watered down. I really enjoy Mondavi’s Cabernet so the nonalcoholic wines are disappointing.
For a woman that has loved red wine I enjoyed it for the first sip or two and then I didn’t. Especially with eating food I didn’t enjoy it.
Hi,
I did not like it. Just being honest.
-Amy Day
It is like all of the other red NA wine. Tastes sugary, like grape juice. Missing that wonderful dry red wine taste....
